Man Friday Restaurant Kinsale

We had dinner here last night and the service was fantastic and very polite. The staff interact with all the customers and seem to enjoy their work quite alot. This is a huge positive for restaurant.
The food was nothing short of amazing. To start i had the red pepper soup. For main I had the lamb and for dessert I had the meringue.
The soup was very flavorful, a great start to the meal.
Up next the main of lamb, it was very tender and just delicious.
To top it off then was the meringue, so light and fluffy. Hats off to all involved.
With the weather we have been having, this evening dinner was topped off with one of the most beautiful sunsets across the harbor that I've ever seen.
Needless to say but we will most definitely be back.

The whole experience was really great. I enjoyed the meat as it was perfectly cooked and the sides were just delicious. The service was impeccable and very attentive.
I have come here a few years ago, the experience has not changed one bit - my only regret is that the mussels were not available :(
Side note: The bread is very very good. Don't stuff yourself before the meal as there is a lot to come!

We had a fantastic meal at Man Friday the other night. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very cosy and some of the seating has beautiful views over the Kinsale harbour. I started with a prawn cocktail which was very delicious. For the main course I had the beef ribs in Murphy's Irish Stout glaze which was absolutely delightful! The meat was so rich and tender. I also tried some of the Hake which was also amazing! We finished off with a flourless chocolate cake which was very rich. Overall the meal was amazing, all the food was excellent quality and tasted fantastic. I would definitely recommend booking as it can get quite busy. If you're visiting Kinsale you couldn't go wrong with a meal at Man Friday!
